Nokia 7110 and 7250i car kits

I have a Nokia car kit fitted for the 7110 (an others) but my new
7250i has a different edge connector. Is it possible to just switch
the cradle to the new type or do I need to replace the entire kit?

New kit I'm afraid, individual components of different kits aren't
compatible, with the possible exception of the microphone and speaker.
