    Positioning:
    -----------
The 7610 is compatible with GPS services - you can get software that uses
this (such as a mapping/route program). No network supports this as standard
    AFAIK.

    Presence:
    ---------
A kind of instant messaging service - no UK network supports this at
    present.

i.e. both features are currently useless out of the box.

    Hope this helps,

Can I ask O2 for this service at a charge? Would be handy. Do I just need
the map/route/whatever program, or do I need a network service too?

    Not AFAIK.

There is software available that you can install on your phone (Route 66
Britain is one that springs to mind - navigational software), normally
around the £150 mark + service access charge.

    Hope this helps,
