Hi,
I'm trying to use the Nokia Audio Manager to upload MP3 files to the
phone via Bluetooth. For some reason the Audio Manager claims I do not
have enough free space on the phone to upload - it shows 0MB for the MMC
card, which has approximately 55MB free according to both the phone
itself, and the Nokia Phone Browser.
Any ideas where the problem may be?
Thanks,
The Other Guy

Re: 6230 - MP3 upload with Nokia Audio Manager
IIRC, the Audio Manager can upload files only to the Music Files folder in
the phone memory, not to the MMC. You can use the Phone Browser to copy
files from the PC to the MMC.

Why don't you remove the card, and pop it into a card reader, and then just
drag and drop the audio (Mp3) file to the card?

I hadn't checked the file system used on the 6230, but FAT was probably
a safe bet. Although I have a card reader, personally I find Bluetooth
more convenient than turning off the phone, removing the back, and
slipping out the MMC card. Once I get a 1-2GB card I may think
otherwise, but for my 64MB card, Bluetooth is quick enough.
