Snake II Top Scores

Hello,

Recently I started using Nokia 6210 and I fell in love with a great
game - Snake II. I was getting better and better, my top scores were
2000, 2400, 3100, 3500, up to 4500... But what I dreamt of was filling
the whole screen with my snake. Finally I did it - the score wasn't
very impressive as I didn't pay much attention to collecting the
animals, but I thought it was pretty good anyway - 4615. Thus, I
wanted to compare my score with other players and so I did - checked
the high scores on Club Nokia. To my surprise, I saw top scores
reaching even 32000!

Firstly I thought it must have been a cheat, but then I leaned towards
that being a some kind of trick, or a special bonus in the game,
whatever. Question is: how can I score that much in Snake II?
Remember, I filled my screen and didn't even score 5000, so how about
32000?

What do I have to do to reach those scores? Anybody did that?

try playing the game frame by frame by continually pausing it as soon as the
snake moves one unit.
that way you get to the animals in the quickest possible time.
also on some phones, pausing the game on the frame where the snake actually
eats a dot makes the snake not increase in length. so you play forever,
well, till you get bored

Well, that definitely is not the way. I tried gaining more points from
the animals - pausing the game, finding the quickest way etc - it
helped me improve the top score to 4786, the screen was filled with
the snake, no space left.

I suppose 5000 is more less maximum using normal, obvious methods - so
there must be a glitch somewhere, to reach 32000.

Anybody knows?

It's called cheating, modification of the java program, so when the
high-score is transmitted to the club-nokia wap-site, it's uplaoded with the
fake score. 32,000 may be nokia's upper limit for that game, forw atever
reason
