I downloaded the demo of MobiMB but cant get in to work with my 6610i
although it will work with my friends 7200 and 6610.
The cable is a DKU5 - prolific.
The cable works fine with my phone when running nokia PC suite on a
different pc(cant run this on mine as you need a newer version of windows
than Windows ME that i have).
I have installed the driver and serial port bridge as instructed and the
baud rate is set to 115000.
Any Ideas what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance

The problem is, that latest Nokia 6610i firmware may block ProLific
cable connection. Anyhow, we can recommend to have a look at Oxygen
Phone Manager II ( http://www.opm-2.com/ ).
You should set your phone up in our program as follows:
1) Attach the cable to the phone and connect it to USB port
2) Open 'Control panel' -> 'System' -> 'Hardware' -> 'Device manager'
under MS Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server in classic desktop view or
'Control panel' -> 'System' -> 'Devices' for MS Windows 95 OSR2 (*) /
98 SE /Millenium. Expand 'Ports com and LPT' branch and remember COM
number, assigned for 'ProLific USB to Serial bridge' virtual port.
Close control panel window.
3) In Oxygen Phone Manager II open 'Tools' -> 'Options' -> 'Connection
and common' -> 'Connection' -> 'Add port' - here you should set
virtual COM port number from point (2).
4) Left-click once on 'DAU-9p/F-Bus' sign near new COM port and select
'DLR-3/DLR-3p' from the menu.
5) Deselect all other connection settings including DKU-5, as ProLific
cables aren't DKU-5. Press 'Ok' to confirm settings.
-----
(*) We don't support MS Windows 95 OSR-2 officially in our program,
however, it may function.
If you have any questions and/or suggestions, concerning our
program, feel free to post them on our official forum
