3315 unlock code

Hi,
I have the unlock code for my 3315, it's locked with optus (Australia).
I think i put it in once, but it still won't accept my non optus sim
card.

Can someone tell me how to put the code in, so it will work, please?

I'll tell you what i did, i turned it on without the sim card in it,
put the code in, quickly because otherwise it would dissapear, after i
put the last # in it went back to the put in sim card screen. So i
turned it off and put the non optus sim card in and came up "Sim card
rejected". Anyones help will be greatly appreciated.

It is strange, and i don't know why. I tried the website and got the
same result, i put the code in again and low and behold it worked.

Not to be outdone, one of the the vodafone sim's i got looks like a dud
one. It seems im not meant to change companies.

What do you mean "a dud one" ?????
What message were you getting from it?????

I meant a dud one, the phone would not accept it. Doesn't matter now
though, went back and got another one.
