This program is great, I am not a promoter of it, but I'm sure there's
plenty of people out there who'd like to be able to unlock their Nokia
phone(s). It is not free, but the advantage to it is that you recieve
technical support from its maker - he is also a pretty nice guy. It
also unlocks every single Nokia phone that's been made up to as recent
as the program is. It unlocked my 6620 from ATT, has unlocked my
buddy's 6200 IM also from ATT with no problem and on the first try.

He sells it through ebay and you pay for it 5$USD - then he sends you
the download link - and then you have to run the program on the PC you
intend to use it on - and it will generate your Hardware ID# which you
then send to him via email along with the email address you sent
payment from etc and he will send you back your unlocker program code
so you may use the program. He allows it to be used on multiple pc's
for a $3 charger per additional license. It also locks SOME Samsung
phones along with two other OEM brand phone lines.

Why not just do it for free?

    http://unlockme.co.uk/phpBB2/viewfor...bb516c7ea08260

Post you IMEI number and wait a few days, they will send you the unlock
code. Worked on my 3620 and my 6200IM flawlessly. You shouldnt have to pay
to have a phone, that you own, unlocked. I mean WTF, you own it.

    Re: Great Nokia unlock app..

Every solution can only fit so many people. I in particular wanted to
be able to have a dedicated program on my laptop and home pc which I
may use whenever I liked, and where I did not have to be connected to
the internet to use was my primary reason for purchasing a license to
the program I mentioned. I also did not know of this website, if I
had, I most likely would've just utilized it. Thank you for posting
    it.

Also, I don't know just what difference or if any difference it makes
that the below mentioned website also does not seem to list USA for
the country data input when you select the Nokia brand. It doesn't
list Motorola - that'd be crucial considering Motorola is also one of
the more used cellular phone brands out there.

Then again, it is free, what more can one ask for

You could also have downloaded Crux's calculator which is freely available.
If you still want it, you'll find it in the extras section of the
    UselessInfo site in my sig.

Or... save yourself the $5 and either unlock your Nokia with an on
line unlocker offered at several sites or download an unlocking
application from several places as well. Of course it requires that
you go to google and look for it. Unless you just have $5 lying
around that you don't know what to do with this is not such a hot
    offer.

But there are many free unlock programs that run standalone. See
www.unlockme.co.uk for several links. Heck, since the algorithm is
published there are even midlets that calculate unlock codes on any
Java-enabled phone. See www.indear.tk for some, or look for Yeti.
Indear even publishes C sourcecode to calculate unlock codes, so
anyone who can drag-and-drop a user interface in C++ Builder can
copy the calculate code easily in place.
