Has anybody got 6230 V5.24 firmware in the UK yet, either from a
service centre or on a brand new phone?

I've seen suggestions elsewhere that 5.24 is a beta release and not an
official one. 4.44 is the latest shown in the Nokia firmware listings.

Nokia Service Centres are installing this version in Australia.

i gave mine in for firmware update on 31/01/2005 and it came back with
version 4.44

I put mine in for upgrade on 31/01/2006 and it came back with version
6.83, but still none of the bugs had been fixed. ;-)

took it in yesterday got version 4.44. Only thing I've noticed is camera is
better video is worse, nice icons for email app and hasn't crashed yet. Also
looked like web pages displayed better and faster not sure as not browsed
much yet. regards.
