ACP-12 & ACP-7 Chargers

Can I assume that the ACP-12 is a more powerful charger than the ACP-7 ?

Just got a 6230 and I see that I can use either charger; I assume that the
ACP-7 will take longer to charge the battery than the ACP-12 will?

Can I use the ACP-12 to charge my previous 8310 as well, or is it too
powerful?

It has a higher loading voltage and will allow more amperes (can be nicely
seen with netmonitor).

Yes.

AFAIK yes. I sometimes charge my old 3330 with it, and according to the
manual this should be OK. I assume the allowed chargers can be found in
the 8310 manual somewhere too

The 12X won't charge some phones, notably my 6150.

The 8310 manual only mentions the ACP-7 and ACP-8 chargers. It's not that
crucial if it doesn't, it just means that either I use the ACP-7 charger for
both phones, or have two chargers kicking around.

on nokia.com it states acp-7, acp-8, acp-12 as compatible with the
8310.

Perhaps his paper manual was outdated, printed before the ACP12 was out?
The pdf manuals at nokia.com are sometimes updated.

Nokia.com info must be different to Nokia.co.uk stuff, cos that's where I
got the info from.
