Hi there,
I got hold of a used 5210, which is not that bad, and allows me to replace
the 3310.
I replaced the battery (which was about to die) by another genuine Nokia
BLB-2, and since then the thermometer stays stuck to 26°C (78°F). The new
battery is running for 5 weeks now, so I guess the run-in period is over,
has anyone an idea of what's going on ?
The thermometer isn't a feature I use, but it annoys me to know it doesn't
work (it did before, with the old batt).
I already know the thermometer and the battery have a connection of some
kind, as when I recharge the batt it says "thermometer not available".
Regards,
G.T

Re: 5210 thermometer ?
I assume the 5210 uses the optional temp sensor inside the battery. The
better batteries sense the battery temperature during charging to control
the charge current...
