6610i Infrared problem

Hi, Im new to the forum so I'll introduce myself, I'm Andrew and Im a 15 year old student from Peterborough in the UK.

Recently I got a nokia 6610i mobile phone, but I'm having problems with the infrared. It will let me send and recieve contacts or calender entries but it won't let me send or recieve pictures of anything else.

I have a cable that connects it to my computer... Is there any way of fixing it so it will allow me to send and recieve more types of data?

You need special data synchronization software in order to be able to manage
your phone's Gallery. Nokia 6610i doesn't support direct file transfer by IR
without special software.
