Sim lock

Hi,

Hope someone can help. i recently sold my 6600 to a mate but he is having a
small problem with it. At some point when i had the phone i have set it up
to need a code if you change the SIM or memory card. needless to say he
cant use it with his SIM or memory card.

Is there anything I can do as I cant remember the codes i entered. Would it
be the same code for both? Would incorrectly guessing a few times mess it
up?

The default code is 12345 which is always worth a try.
