    Hi,

I receive as a gift a 3220 from the United States in a T Mobile shop.

The employee said it will be OK to work in Belgium with my phone operator.
It doesn't work. I asked Nokia and they said it was a phone which needs T
Mobile as operator. Can someone help me? Is there a software to change?

The phone would appear to be 'locked' to T-Mobile.
I'm sure someone will be along soon to point you to a site with information
    on how to unlock it.

Look on the forums on www.nokiafree.org. I used the information there to
unlock my 3220 from T Mobile and now use it for Cingular.
