    Hi group, I have a problem with my orange payg phone. I have put numbers in
    the contacts list but when any of those numbers call me, all I get on the
    display is 'call' and it doesn't tell me who. Even worse, when I miss a
    call, it tells me I got a call but no number is left! What is wrong? There
    is no settings for caller id anywhere on the phone.

    I've never owned a payg phone before - can i ring up customer services on
    450 (is it chargeable) and ask them - do they answer technical enquiries?

    Have you perhaps got the same numbers on both the SIM and the phone?

    Hi there, I tried all 3 settings.
    I had the phone memory in use 1st.
    Put numbers in - no joy.
    Deleted the numbers.
    Used the sim memory 2nd.
    Put numbers in - no joy.
    Then phone and sim.

    I didn't do any duplications.

    I've also noticed that in the calls register
    there is no missed calls or received calls options.
    It goes straight to dialled numbers (3).

    I think I'm going back to the Orange shop.

    Strange. I have a few 3100s, and a 3120, and none of them behaves this
    way.
