6800 Frequency Change

Hi,
Its me Evan from Bangladesh. My friend send me set from USA nokia 6800.
But in Bangladesh, its not working and there is no netwrok. Is there
any way to change the frequency from 850/1900 to 900/1800 (Asia Network
is GSM 900/1800)?? Please tell me the solution?????? In Bangladesh
every service center told me that hey can't do anything??
