Nokia 6101 fubar?

My new Nokia 6101 has a problem where any contacts I enter are later
forgotten and the list shows up as completely empty. Anyone got any idea
how much this might cost to get fixed? Yes, it has a warranty but I
bought it overseas.

Just checked and it seems that while the names are there (% of phone
memory shows as 2% used) the list shows up as empty. Very weird.
