Thanks Brian. I have V2.0539.1.2 dated 19-10-05. Is there a later version
    available? What are the improvements?

    Hang fire a second guy's.

It appears that the version your already running is newer than what my CNSP
has to hand, there must be a newer version if yours is dated with that date
and a CNSP has even older.

Watch this space and by tomorrow I will provide all information on the
latest version, even a changelog too, right now I dont have the CNSP excel
sheets here with fw revisions on them - so until tomorrow guy's.

My version V2.0539.1.2 dated 19-10-05 is with Vodacom South Africa and
includes Vodafone Live which is operator specific in South Africa.

v3.0546.2.3 is the latest I can see for sim free (unbranded) or generic
whatever you guy's would like to call it.

This verison is not available for all operators either as not all
customisations are available in this - so the CNSP may refuse to flash it
with this particular version - the version I posted earlier was the version
that is Minimum required - so if your phone has older s/w on it they will
make sure whatever they do that they put the minimum required on there.

Also - there is a major BUG in the latest N70 firmware where the MP3 as
ringtone option has problems, you can select and save your ringtone fine but
when it comes to a phone call comming in - it takes too long to load the
song for ringtone, usually it would revert to the Nokia tone - but sometimes
this doesnt even happen - nokia are aware of this and have put a small sis
file on there website to help fix the problem temporarily until the newer
    firmware is ready.
