Hi, and sorry if these are tired old questions.
I'm one of those dullards who only wants to use a cell phone to make a phone
call --and ideally hear the person to whom I'm speaking. I have two
questions, and many thanks to anybody who can help out!
I just got a Nokia 6030 phone and am a bit distressed at the overwhelming
amount of menu options onscreen. Is there a way to get rid of some of them?
I definitely will never use this thing to access the web or download stuff.
More importantly: Is there a volume control on this thing? I'm talking about
voice volume--not ringer volume. I have a hard time hearing people when I'm
talking in the street. My crappy old now-dead Nokia had handy "up" and
"down" arrows that controlled volume when I was talking, but I've tried
everything I can with this one and nothing seems to work!
Many thanks!
Avery

The middle 4-way button is where the volume control is. During a call, push
it left or right to make the volume go up or down. I just got my 6030 about
3 weeks ago and love it!

Thank you so much!
I can't wait to try this. (And why the heck wasn't this in the 60-page
manual!?!?!?!)
