Not really, but I had a similar problem with my Palm Treo, until I
allowed Bluetooth discovery on the Palm.

Thanks for that. Dont think it helps in this case as the ppc seems happy
with the nokia, it is the nokia refusing the connection?

I had the same problem "pairing" My Ipaq 2210.
1) 2210 Firmware must be 1.10 (a soft reset displays the firmware)
2) Go to HP support and download "Hp Ipaq security update SP 28083" and
follow there instructions to apply to your 2210
( I installed into the default folder on my Ipaq.
3) Tap the BT (blutooth) Icon on your Ipaq and open BT manager and make sure
that you don't have any duplicates of the
Nokia 6230i software.I have:
Nokia 6230i: Com 1
Nokia 6230i: Dial-up Networking
Nokia 6230i: Nokia Pc Suite
Nokia 6230i: Obex File Transfer
Plus any other devices
I had duplicates as I tried many times to BT pair.
With the BT passcode I used 1234 on My Ipaq and 6230i.
BT is visable on the Ipaq but not on the Nokia (at least I can't see it)
The BT pairing when successful is only done once.
