nokia 6210 problem

on switch on the phone comes up with a message LOCAL MODE. Am unable to
access any part of the phone, none of the keys respond. Anyone come
across this before, and if so what is the cause, and the solution to
this problem.

Local mode is generally only seen when the firmware is being flashed. What
have you had plugged into the phone?
