Data Transfer from Nokia 6230 to Nokia N70

Can I use Nokia PC suite to transfer everything from my old 6230 to my new
N70?

You should be able to copy your phone book to Outlook or Outlook Express
via Nokia PC Suite.

You should be able to copy pictures and ring tones to your PC via Nokia
PC Suite, but that would be about it I think.

Then you should be able to use PC suite to copy them over to your N70, a
lot of stuffing around though.

But is there anything out there on the market that is free?

Our trial versions are absolutely free. In trial version you can upload one
phonebook entry per program's session. All other sections work in read-only
mode.

Mike.

Nokia PC Suite is totally free, no limits or anything. Don't waste your
money on OPM, if you really must try it, get it from one of the P2P
networks (Kazaa, Morpheus, BitTorrent etc).

OPM is over-hyped (by them) bloatware with little useful extra
functionality and it is also slow in transfering data. PC Suite will
synch in half the time OPM will.

Unfortunately PC Suite won't allow me to transfer files from my 6230 across
to my N70. The calendars on the two phones are different for starters, so
even bluetoothing them across one by one doesn't work properly as the N70
doesn't have birthday entries and the like. Seems a lot of the stuff on the
N70 has been omitted by Nokia and they've concentrated more on it's primary
use being a camera, and secondary use as a phone and diary.
