hi - i used the software on the supplied disc to upload al my contacts from
MS outlook 2003 to my 6680 handset - and none will dial

i get the " number not recognised " error

i am in the UK and MS outlok saved all my numbers in the format :

    +44 [XXXXX] YYYYYY

removing the [ ] brackets manually allows the number to be rung -- is there
a simpe way to reformat ALL my contacts in one go ??

i cannot reformat them on my PC -- and asking a similar question on an
outlook help newsgroup got no replies

    TIA

    YRS - AJ

TBH I think you are going to have to change the numbers manually. Sorry that
    doesn't help you much :-(

not sure if this would work. but try it out and let us know.

ok try saving your outlook contacts as text file. then open in ms word.
using the find and replace option. find [ and replace with (deleted
    space). then same for ]

then transfer over to your nokia

Good tip, I think, but why not do this to the outlook address book first, I
don't find any real use from the area code being separated.
