Ok if someone can solve this then they are the saviour of many a nokia
user. I've been searching forums for two days with no joy.
I have an nfb file created from an n70 with the nokia pc suite that
came with the phone.
It was stolen and all I have left is the nfb backup file. I now have a
new n73 as a replacement along with the updated nokia pc suite that
came with it. However, when I try to restore the backup to the new
handset it doens't even recognise it.
I've tried opening the file with wordpad (too big for notepad) and it's
not good enough to get the data becuase the contacts are not in any
meaningful arrangement.
I've tried uninstalling the pc suite and using the nokia pc clean .exe
and then reinstalling the latest download from the web.
I've tried restoring my pc to a point previous to installing the new
software to try and use the original n70 suite.
I've tried opening in excel.
I've resigned myself to the fact that the nokia pc suite isn't going to
restore my contacts for me so the only way I can do it is by getting
the data manually from the nfb file but I don't know how, or if there
is a reader out there somewhere.
Any one got any tips please???

Try Google. The first & fourth hits I got look promising, here they are. I
didn't look any farther. If these don't work, go to Google. My query was
simply "nokia nfb" and I got about 70,300 hits.
