NOKIA 6030 Still More Questions..

Hello,

I have had the Nokia 6030 for about 3 weeks and it has taken time to
learn (my first cell phone)... and now have a good grasp of the
features and capabilities. Plus it has cost me about $15+ in change
just to learn (Pay as you Go). I have a few more questions.

Q: How can I record a voice message or send it to voice mail? As far
as I know, my phone does not have the capability of recording voice
messages. If I am on a call and want to say record driving directions
from the person on the other end... How can I perhaps forward the call
to voice mail? and then have that person record the directions. Later
on I can pick up my voice mail.

Q: How can I add e-mail names to my "Names Listing"?
I have been successful in using AOL IM to text to people on AOL Instant
Mail. I have on my "Names List" telephone numbers and some E-mail /
IM information. If I recall I had clicked on previously received
messages and entered into the "Names Listing". However, how can I
enter E-mail names as a new contacts?

Hello,

I found out how to add Names with e-mails addresses by trial and error.
So here is the jest of it. Go to Add a new contact name and then add
it. Then go back and click on Names (select center button), then click
the specific name (details center button), then click on Options
(call), then click on Add Details (select), then click on E-mail
(select).

Since it sounds like you are a Cingular customer, go to this site and
register with the forums. You will find a wealth of information on your
phone. I purchased the 6030 just last week and couldn't be more pleased with
it.
