Backup and Restore Help

Hi

I'm trying to back up my old Nokia 6230i and restore all my numbers and
other files to another 6230i.

I have downloaded the latest software from the Nokia website and can back up
the old phone, however when trying to restore to the new phone, the PC
freezes at 20% complete, seemingly when it is transferring all the numbers.

I have tried on a desktop PC running Windows XP Home with a direct cable
connection and also on a laptop running XP Pro using Bluetooth. Backup is
fine in both cases, but restore freezes at the same point on both machines.

Any suggestions.

The shameless plug worked! Software is excellent. You will not believe how
much time I've wasted with the Nokia software. From installation to full
backup with Mobiux was less than 5 minutes. Didn't even have to look at
instructions.

please try 'Noki' (http://nokisms.googlepages.com) to export/convert
phonebooks in the .nbu file as vCard then copy them to the new phone.

Noki is a Nokia phone backup file explorer and extractor.
