So how many times have you updated your N73 software?
I didn't think there had been enough updates to make that "everytime"
    statement possible.

And I'm with jartsu, mine doesn't work either.

The problem is that the software for some N73 models has not yet been
updated while it has for other N73's - Nokia apologise for this on
their website - but the update software is very poorly designed in
that it makes you go through the whole update sequence then just says
it can't find a phone to update. That leaves the poor user hanging -
is the phone connection faulty or what? What it should do is check
your phone model and the update status and then give you a message
saying no software update available for your phone.

    C'mon, Nokia, what about it?

N70 Twice, N73 three times, N80 twice, N90 once, N91 once. Those were
    all upgrades.

plus a number of times reinstalling the same software.
