I was just wondering if anyone had ever had something called a phantom
to connect to their phone.
Yesterday I was transfering some pics and vids from my nokia 6255i to
my phone. I finished and unplugged the bluetooth adapter from my
notebook. Then the phone came up and said that PHANTOM was trying to
connect.
Nobody else in our house has a bluetooth adapter.
Anyone ever heard of this.
Thanks
Reggie

Phantom is probably the name someone has given to their phone and they
just happened to be passing your house at the time.
Whilst driving through Bath a couple of weeks ago I has 3 phones try to
link to mine. I guess some folks leave their BT on all the time.

Someone was searching for unsecure and available bluetooth
devices/connections with their device called/named Phantom?
How close are your neighbours/passers-by?

I live in a townhouse appartment. But, my next door neighbor doesn't
have a cell phone. Didn't think there was any of those people left.
The road in front of my house is about 50 feet from my front door.
But it is a little traveled road.
Got me confused.
