Japanese for Nokia 6288 in Australia

I have a Nokia 6288 on the Optus network in Australia. The phone comes
with alternative inputs, but does not include Japanese, which is the
only one I want. Is this possible with this phone?

Also, does anybody know of any Japanese learning software which I might
install?

Your only chance will be to find a PID that has Japanese, then load it
to the phone with Nemesis and then update the firmware the Nokia
Software Updater.

Unfortunately, there's not much to this that I could follow.

What is a PID, and what is Nemesis.

BTW, I found some useful Japanese tutorial software on the GetJar site
you recommended.
