I'm trying to send a photo I took with the N73's main camera to a friend
via an MMS message but I keep being told that the picture is too big
(over 300K). I was under the impression that pictures were auto-resized
when adding them to an MMS so they could be sent.
I know I have the option to shrink the file manually on the phone but
that will overwrite the original (there does not appear to be an option
to make a backup and resize that).
Am I doing something wrong?
I have firmware 4.0726.2.0.1
Thanks!

Menu > Message > Options > Settings > Multimedia Message > Image Size
'Large' & MMS Creation mode 'Guided'
That's how my N73 is set up, and all images are automatically scaled down
when added to a mms!
