A bit ambiguous question, why not start the Nokia maps application and start
using your GPS receiver. There are some other applications on the phone too
and you can install/buy more.

It doesn't tend to work well inside.

Try going outside and use Nokia Maps installed on the phone.

It can take up to a min for the GPS to lock onto the satellites.
