I just got myself a Nokia E51. If text messages are sent to me while the
phone is switched off, they arrive when I switch it on, but stamped with
the current time (i.e. the time at which they arrive), and not the time
at which the message was sent. Its very annoying. How can I change
this? I rang Vodafone but they say its a phone issue.

yes, unfortunatelly it is sw issue. the same with the old 6310i. you can
see the sent time of the sent messages, but not the delivered time, when
you send a message, and the notification is switched on.
but using gammu to download messages you can see both time (sent and
delivered) in the log file gammu has generated. so the information is in
the phone database, but the user interface can't show it (neither in the
phone nor in the pcsuite)
