HI,
Can anyone give me some advice on how to set up the 3650 using bluetooth to
connect to a laptop and use it as modem?
I can only do this using the IR, and when I try to install the nokia modem
driver, the bluetooth option is disabled.
Many Thanks..
Aric

Re: 3650 Bluetooth
Make sure the 3650 is Visible.
From your iPAQ find the contact you want from on the list, tap and hold
until you see "Send via Bluetooth".
You'll then find the 3650, select the checkbox and hit the send button.
On the 3650 you'll receive the contact in you Inbox. Press the Options
button and Save.
Look for more guides in our site...

Any guides there explaining how to make a Bluetooth Linux-box to act
as a router for 3650/7650? How to create an access point, so all
Internet connections from the phone would be done over Bluetooth and not
over GPRS?

Sorry, no guides there for Linux. Since all the routing functionality is on
mRouter and the phone actually is assigned an IP, I'd guess it's just acting
as a PPP connection (the phone connects back on the serial port) (that's in
our guide for internet access for the 3650).
You could try starting a PPP demon on your box and see what happens. Or try
doing a trace of a mRouter connection using a Bluetooth trace tool and see
what messages are exchanged - then implement this on a demon for Linux.
Or am I bullsh*ing here?
Thanks!
