With those specs, in a decently designed (and sized) handset, I'd get the
Ericsson T610.

And I would get, and I did, Nokia 7650, is there a more obvius choice?

Re: Which phone
I agree with the Nokia 7650. A friend of mine has it and if that's what
you're looking for, this phone will be perfect for you

Plenty of more obvious choices. If you're going to spend that amount of
money on a handset, why on earth would you buy a 7650 which is (or is about
to be) discontinued, not the best design in the world, bulky, and with an
appalling implementation of bluetooth?

Re: Which phone
Thanks Richard.
I went down to a T-Mobile shop and got a feeling of it. Looks like a great
phone. Not the best looking in the market but has all the functionality I
need. I am getting it next week.
Thanks again

No problem, enjoy your phone. I knew I was going to stir up a hornet's nest
by suggesting <shock> an Ericsson </shock>, but the fact remains that Nokias
are not the only option. Some people buy an item, and because they have got
one, it must be the best thing on the planet. A bit like the old pit
village mentality really. As much as I like the simplicity of the Nokia
menu structure, and the reliablility of my older 6150 etc. there are now
alternative phones to consider. I'm currently running a 3410, 6610, T20,
T39, T68 and probably an e808 in the next couple of days. None of them are
perfect, but I like the 6610 the least of the lot. So much so, that I think
it'll be going on EBay in the near future. Oh well, you pays your money,
and at the time I thought it was perfectly suitable, but I simply can't
handle the lack of Bluetooth and voice dialling - don't know what Nokia were
thinking about when they released an otherwise perfectly good phone.

Before you commit yourself, get someone to show you the T610 outside in
sunlight - or even just in proper daylight; I got one and although it's
a great phone the display is _impossible_ to read in sunlight. This is a
little bit of a pisser because the camera isn't that great indoors.

First, I love the design of 7650, really, that's why I bought it too!
Second, ofcourse there are choices, and I would go for that Samsung model
with a camera, never Ericson, I started disliking them when they first caim
out with those small screens and stuff, now there not really good looking
and kinda robust. But I like Samsung, cuz it has high quality casing, better
than mine Nokia 7650 I must say, and they have great design too.

Re: Which phone
If you want to be a geek, check out the Ericsson P800.
Too bad Motorola didn't join the rat race yet.
