Could any of you who have obtained the 3.16 firmware report on whether
it has improved the bluetooth situation with nokia PC suite? I still sync
and transfer with infrared because it's such a ***** to use bluetooth
with PC suite (though I have no trouble using bluetooth with the phone
otherwise, such as to hit the Internet over GPRS.)
I'm trying to summon the will to lose the phone for a week, and every
promise of improvement tips the balance a bit.

Some users reported better Bluetooth performance and a link to a version
history in this thread:

The problem with BT isn't the phone. It's the PC Suite itself. ANy FW
update on the phone isn't going to fix that.

Re: firmware v. 3.16 for nokia 3650
From 3.16 release notes:
" Bluetooth:
Bluetooth Hands Free Profile routing improvements for IHF -> Bluetooth
situation
Call conferencing with Bluetooth Audio no longer terminates abnormally "
While not specific, improvements to the profile were included in this
release.
My phone was upgraded a couple of weeks ago. It took about 20 minutes to
set up my TDK with PC Suite. I simply followed the guides on this website:
www.geekzone.co.nz
Routing internet traffic through my pc's broadband connection was simple.
