7250i txt probems

Just got a nokia 7250i at the weekend (excellent phone but with one annoying
feature). When you send a text message it doesn't clear from the message
editor.

e.g. you go into Text, Create Message, type your message and Send it. Once
the message is sent it returns you to the message editor (displaying the
message you just typed), you can press the red (hang up) button to return
you to the front screen, but when you go back into the message editor the
previous message is still displayed (you have to clear this character by
character before you can type a new message).

Is this a bug/feature, is anyone else experiencing this?

Same for the 7250. All you have to do is once the message has been sent, go
to the menu and choose clear text which is two options down. Then exit. A
bit annoying but TUFF!! HA HA HA HA HA!!

Standard feature.... on a 5110, 5130, 8250, 8310, 3310, 5210, 7210, 3210 and
5510 i've ever used... same-o, same-o...

Shame you can't hold the clear button down like on the 6210 to clear
all the text

Only if you are at the end of the message, if you are in the middle on the
message and hold down clear it only clears from where you are to the
beginning.

Shame I like the 7250i, only my 7110 is much better for texting (it also
doesn't have so many stupid words in the T9 dictionary that you have to skip
past to find the word you want!).

Thanks for mentioning the 'Clear Text' option, I had missed that!

On the 6210 holding down clears all text straight away, on the 7250 it
just deletes the characters at high speed
