    hiya,

I want to connect a nokia phone to my computer though the mbus
connection so that i can download sms in the inbox, is there a way to
do this? how do i go about enabling the sending of the SMS to the
    mbus??

I dont really need help with the computer side of of things, unless
the stuff send from the phone is in some way encoded

I know that i can use a datacable, this isnt the problem, its just how
i get the SMS to transfer via that cable to the computer

    cheers

    greg

I don't know if it's the answer you expect, but both Logomanager & Oxygen
Phone Manager do this. OPM, in addition, can archive it on hard drive.
My best advice would be to download the demo versions (www.logomanager &
www.opm-2.com) to see what they can or cannot do.

    Re: MBUS sms transfer

Thank you for your interest about our software! We don't support MBus mode
in our programs, as it is too slow for data synchronization purposes (only
9600 bits/second on half duplex), therefore it would take ages to transfer
all your data effectively. We support only full duplex mode, which functions
on 115200 bit/s full duplex speed and can transfer logos, ringtones, to-do
list (if supported) and phonebook entries in a minute! Anyhow, we always
recommend to try the cable with our trial version
http://www.opm-2.com/download/opm2.zip to find out, whether it is compatible
with our software. You can always send questions/suggestions regarding
    phone's connectivity at [email protected]
