Can anyone recommend a good place in the UKto get my 3510i flashed to a
    different version?
CPW wont touch it now as it's been tagged as 'water damaged' - would
    Dunmorris be any different?

How about internet sites? Are they safe enough?

    Cheers,
    Paul

Well if you do, don't go above 4.42.
Has a lovely bug in it which reduces your SMS capability from 150 to 50.
    4.42 is very stable...

Cheers for that - I saw that on Marcin's firmware pages - also saw that v5
might be out - maybe it will fix it?

Anyone have any experience in the £20 dongle/dct4 flashing kits on ebay?

Yeah, got one sitting in a box here, but I won't let it near a phone. The
cheap DCT4 flashers are ok after a fashion, but bear in mind that there is
NO support for them, and in my experience they cause nothing but trouble.
To do the job properly, use Neelix, Griffin, AFD or Prodigy, but they'll all
set you back at least £180+.
