hi....
I'm trying to send music files (mp3 & wav) to my 3650 over blue tooth, but
the phone doesn't seem to like the format.
Any ides about:
a) what format the clips should be?
b) when they arrive in the phone in-box where should i put them to access
them?
c) what can be done with them once they're in there?
thanks a million in advance
chris

Re: 3650 sound sound sound!!!!
As with the 7650, there seems to be some issues as to what you can and
can't send across Bluetooth. I found excessively large files and EXE or
APP files would cause problems. I suggest getting a USB IR dongle as
they are quite cheap and 100 times more reliable than Bluetooth, that
or use the IR port on a laptop (even better).
Or how about just shoving them onto the MMC card direct via card reader
then moving them later using something like FExplorer (top-notch piece
of freeware)?
Also once in the inbox you can find them around either by searching for
the filename using a search tool or:
C:\system\mail
And then somewhere around there in one of the directories. When you
locate them just move them. You really need a file explorer of some
description like Handy File or FExplorer (I imagine you already have
one) - it's essential for more complex phone maintenance!

The 3650 doesn't have built in mp3 support ......but i think there is an mp3
player around for it - you would have to search though

Yes, you are right, I didn't read the initial message correctly but like
Freddie says, there are loads of MP3 and WAV players out there (i.e.
MP3Go).
