Does anybody know how to get the above softeware, preferably free (im cheap)
on a nokia 7650 which will be used over the nokia 7650 built in modem. I
want to have full web page access not crap wap sites. (0845 claranet access)

You can get messaging clients which support MSN (and IRC and others) and
there is a browser (Opera?) which does do HTML. There are more that
available but I don't know them by name as your GPRS/WAP services must
be able to handle full data which mine can't. Usually you have to pay
for them but if you know where you can get them for free (just as well,
because I'd have been damn unhappy had I got it then figured out my
phone wouldn't do it).

I have a Doris Browser. No GPRS/WAP services or service providers support
it. GPRS is made to filter pictures, and other active data. If you want to
view web pages as they are you have to set up a dial up on your Nokia 7650.
If you have a password and user name for your internet dial up modem you use
on your PC, that'll do. Just use that. It is more expensive than going via
PC modem but it works.

Err, bollocks. I manage to browse the web quite happily on my 7650
using Operea via Orange's GPRS service.

www.opera.com (20euros last time i looked) try the demo, it's the best
you'll find
