And yet another clueless, top-posting, non-context quoting MidiBuddy user
    gets it hopelessly WRONG!

In case you hadn't noticed, the 8250 is an Asian market only phone, and was
never sold officially outside that area. As the OP is living in Denmark,
the NSC's are highly unlikely to officially have access to the firmware
files for this phone. There are only three PPM packs available for the
8250, and if I remember correctly, none of then contain T9 Danish.

erm... if he didn't quote, how could he top-post?

I believe that the 8250 was functionally identical to the 8210, the only
difference being blue lights and a slightly better keyboard.

    Perhaps 8210 firmware would work?

Asian market only... Since when is Australia classified as being within
Asia? These things are still being sold here, new and boxed, can't imagine
    why.
    Australiasian market only, yes.

Ok, fair point, but most MidiBuddy posters could do with a lesson on
posting. It's about time that they realised that Usenet is not a little
    part of their forum.

Functionally similar. You gain composer, screensavers etc.

I suppose it should be possible, but you'd have to flash the MCU, PPM &
Eeprom - which would make it an 8210. More hassle than it's worth, plus
    you'd lose the 8250 enhancements.
