....for a change. She decided her 7650 was too big and bought the SGH V200
because it's cute and still has the camera.
Anyway, it seems that Samsung have much in common when it comes to PC software,
theirs is crap too. It refuses to use my IR connection, even though the PC can
see the phone. Thankfully they include the data cable in the box (along with a
spare battery and desk charger. When didi Nokia ever do that?) so I was able to
talk to it.
So far it's very nice. I sent a picture from my 6100 and it looks so much better
on the Samsung's screen. The contrast is much better, black is black (I want my
baby back! [1]) and mine looks washed out in comparison. It has a few anoying
features, but she'll get used to those.
The strange thing is the MMS. For some reason it can't accept a picture from her
sister's 7650 but can from my 6100. I can receive from the sister's 7650 though,
and forward it correctly to the V200. A MMS message from the 7650 results in a
SMS message advising to go to www.smart.com.ph and log in to read it.
Anyway, this is a Nokia group, so I'll shut up now. :-)
[1] Sorry about that...

Until you try to take a self-portrait and realise that a revolving camera is
quite neat (although it does mirror the image).
Battery? So far the new one lasted 1.5 days. But that's 1.5days showing it off
to everyone, not normal use... Still, they did include a spare.
7650s are still useful though, especially with the heatwave you're having just
now.

Assume you are heading for the Nokia Branded Door Stop? Available at all
good mobile phone retailers. Added extras include the ability to make calls
from your door stop, send and receive texts etc etc etc... ;-))
