Trouble Connection the 6610 using the Fone Data Suite MA-8620E

I bought one of these cables from Mobile Extras today, its good if i want to
use Nokia PC Suite or the software that comes with it, but is it possible to
use it with Oxygen Phone Manager [which i would prefer to use]?

I have uninstalled Nokia PC Suite but it still wont reckonise the phone -
the USB 2 Serial is set to be on COM4 [which i have tried to connect to on
using OPM].

I can connect to OPM using IrDA ok [but i dont have access to IrDA all the
time]

What was the problem? I couldn't get a real Nokia cable to work, but
the aftermarket one did.

What was the problem? I couldn't get a real Nokia cable to work, but
