Cingular Extend Beeping

I have the Nokia 6340i and am having a problem right now with my phone
bouncing between Cingular and Cingular Extend. In addition to the
bouncing it also beeps. In my office it is quite disturbing when my
phone is beeping 7 times a day. Is there a way to turn the beep off
for the notification, without turning the phone to silent?

try this. go into the profile you are using and look for "warning tones"
turn them off. should stop the beep.
