When you transfer your number off a sim card to another network provider is
the old card useless or do you get a new number assigned?
Thanks,

I recently transfered to another network, and the old card goes completely
dead.
Whether or not you can perhaps get it reactivated, and a new number assigned
though, I don't know.
I wouldn't have thought so.
Regards,
James.

It's dead, bin it. Don't see the point in trying to reactivate it, if you
want a PAYG SIM they're cheap enough.
