    Hi

I have a Nokia 8210 that is heavy on batteries. Most of the time it is in
stand by. Very few calls are made but the battery only seems to last a day
at a time. The PA was replaced very recently to fix a signal fault. Any
    input would be much appreciated..

    Cheers

It may well be a faulty PA? The PA controls the power consumption amongst many
    other things.

However it could be a duff battery or charger not charging the battery
    properly?

Get the battery analyse tested and get a read out. Failing that get whoever
replaced the PA IC to do it again :-)

Yeah, lets all do that. Never leave your phone in standby mode!!! ALWAYS
turn them off, so nobody can call you!!!! *note sarcasm*
