Hello,
I have a Nokia 3285 and would like to stick a "radation bug" on it so
when I use my phone it lights up.
What is a radation bug? A small sticker like circuit that feeds off
microwave radation a cell phone emits to give out light (in patterns I
might add too) .
However, to get it flashing ever time you call and recieve calls the
sticker needs to be placed in the right spot. I was told that nokia
phones emit the most concentrated amout of energy near the Plastic
Nokia logo near the top of the phone. Howerver, when I placed my
sticker there it did not light up when making a call. To make sure
that the thing worked I stuck in inside my microwave for a fraction of
a second, and it worked like a charm. Dissapointed, I tried it with my
Dad's Verizon phone, again success. Then I went back to my phone and
waved it contiously around the antenna and near the logo and just
about ever spot on the phone.
Question is Where is the most amount of Radation emited on my phone's
model and where should I place my sticker in order to have it light
up.
Thanks.

stick it on your ear, guaranteed to pick up the radiation from any
phone then, saves you having to buy one for each phone you use, and if
it glows when your not using a phone then your in trouble mate

Some phones put out a weaker signal if they're in a strong signal area. It's a
battery saving thing.
Try yours somewhere where there's a weak signal.

It depends on whether your using your Pokeman case or your Speed Racer case.

The antenna contains a coil, so the highest amount of radiation would be
directly upwards from the centre of the antenna.
You'd be better off buying a flashing aerial; it would be designed to flash
without compromising signal.

In article <[email protected]>, "Mark"
<m.nikia#optusnet.com.au> says...

Any antenna which flashes, has to derives its energy from somewhere. In
this case they derive the energy from the output signal to the
detriment of the energy received by the local cell. The phone will thus
have to increase its transmitter output power to compensate, which
means even more radiation will be absorbed by your brain.

Re: Cell Phone Lights and Microwave radation
A microwave puts out a CW 600-1000 watts. Your cell phone puts out about .3
watts if that. What you need is a booster that will boost the signal from
your cell phone to 600 watts. Or for an easier way, just bypass the door
interlock on your microwave and stick your head in there. After about 5
minutes you will never have any more problems.
