They are NOT different!
Its the DKU-5 cable as you can see on www.nokia.com

If you want an official Nokia DKU-5 cable yes they are the same , but if he
was after one of these he would have looked on the nokia site and seen this
..

If however he is wanting the more popular mbus / fbus cable for mobimb etc
they ARE different .
