Re: Nokia 3595
This is a bit premature, since I only borrowed the phone from Treatz
tonight, but I do have some comments that should remain valid by the time
the test is finished:
Sound quality isn't bad, but the tonal balance is a bit HARSH, and it is NOT
the best-sounding Nokia candy bar phone. Both the 6310i and 3650 sound
markedly cleaner and better balanced. However, it does sound way better than
the likes of the Nokia 7210 and 6200.
Earpiece volume is definitely LOUD, and perhaps the loudest I've encountered
so far. However, I still have do some proper volume testing to see if this
phone is actually louder than the 6310i, and if so, by how much.
The keypad is one of Nokia's silly style-over-substance exercises. It isn't
as awful as the flush keys of the 6200, but the odd pairing of buttons makes
it difficult to use without looking at it. However, you can replace the
faceplate and keys with those from the 3590 if you feel so inclined.
The display is certainly not among the best color units I've seen. It's
really just a color version of the old monochrome displays from older Nokia
models, with pretty much the same resolution. However, this display isn't
particularly crisp, and the pixels have an odd fuzziness about them.

Re: Nokia 3595
FWIW, the guy at T-Mobile store said the 3595 goofy keypad was
designed for game play.
