    Hi,
With the standard polyphonic ringtones on my Nokia 6100 the vibrate alert
works. For any polyphonic ringtone that I upload to the phone it will not
vibrate when it is set to. Is there a setting in the Nokia tone uploaded
that I can change or is it a feature of this phone that you cannot set the
    uploaded tones to vibrate??

    Thanks,

    Andy

Just two possible reasons why it could happen:
    1. Phone doesn't vibrate when it connected to charger device. Also maybe (I
didn't check this) your phone doesn't vibrate when it connected to PC with a
    cable.
    2. SP-MIDI format used in 6100 has a special instrument - "vibrate". It
means MIDI can contain "vibrate" tracks to vibrate keeping time with music.

Except the time it takes for the motor to spin up means that it doesn't quite
    keep time...
