I really don't understand how to replace the T-Mobile operator logo by a
    blank logo.
In the past, I downloaded it via wap
(www.acegames.btinternet.co.uk/index.wml) and saved as new operator logo.
The phone was without the darned T-Mobile logo for several weeks until the
day I had to power the phone off. After turning it back on the T-Mobile logo
was back there and I can not get rid of it anymore.
I downloaded the free blank logo from the site above, the phone said "New
operator logo received, save it ?" and I saved it. For my frustration, when
I go back to the main screen the T-Mobile logo is still there.

Please Help, what am I doing wrong ?

PS:I do not have OPM2 nor Logomanager. I use Nokia PC Suite 5.16 for almost
everything. I read on this News Group that OPM2 would not help me in this
    case. I sent a message to the OPM2 guys but I did not understand the answer;
    kinda broken english ...

I have this problem too; I'm with O2 and can download blank logo but it
won't instal. Switching off operator logo as described by Meelis won't work
either, I can only assume that the logo has been "locked" by O2.

I think your problem is that your phone can't handle transparent
logos. This bug exisits with the 3.x software versions of the 6610.
To check your version enter *#0000#. afaik the actual version is 4.74.

    Thanks Jens,
I checked the firmware version using the command below and the phone
    replies:
    V 4.74
    14-04-03
    NHL-4U
    (C) NMP

I think I have the latest. The bug may still be there ...
